Bruthva Caleb

Introducing Bruthuva Bhushan Caleb, hailing from a family of musicians, therefore, music for him is not a profession by choice, it runs in his genes. As well said by Ray Charles "I was born with music inside me. Music was one of my parts.... It was a necessity for me like food or water". Truly living up to this, Bruthuva's passion towards this field is reflected by his sheer dedication and achievements.

To name a few, he is the Bass Player for 'VIVEK SANTOSH TRIO', followers of Jazz genre, currently his band is touring and are excited to put the album out.

 

He is also the founder of Klezmers - a soulful acapella, where he leads, conducts and arrange voices, experimenting with harmonies by giving his own flavor without changing the feel of the song. Besides, he has played an influential role in conducting the choir for Paul Baloche (2014) and his choir Klezmers also opened the concert for Don Moen back in 2012.

 

About 7 years ago he had a slight change towards his genre and started playing for film music and got into ZEE TV Kannada's 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa' - a musical reality show, soon after which he started playing for Vijay Prakash, Arjun Janya and a lot more individual artists.

 

Over the last 6 years he has made several tours which includes performing at US, UK, Netherlands, Australia, Singapore, Dubai and many more....

 

Apart from singing and arranging he also works as a freelance musician for assisting, programming for short films, feature films and Ad films.

 

He has worked on the scoring of a Kannada feature films 'Vaaruni' and 'Switch(case n', and a Tamil Short Film called 'Melagu Rasam'. Working alongside Music Directors, assisting them for the background score of Rangitaranga, EkLoveYa, Ninna Sanihakke, Gaalipata2 and many more.

 

Has worked on Ad films for brands like TITAN, SPOTIFY, SAFFOLA to name a few. Recently, he has put a band, directing music with the singer 'Aishwarya Rangarajan' called "ARATU", adding a lot of funkyness to the sound.

 

He is also a Pianist and is persuing ATCL from Trinity College of Music.
